1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Wow has it really been 8 Years
2. What does your username mean?
my Proper name is James T Elliott and as a baby there was a Question of a nick name my grand parents said jimmy or II (named after GrandPa Elliott.) mom said JTE (she also nicknamed dad Tree (Thomas R Elliott) he is taller then her.) My nick name was used so much that bye the time I graduated form High school to compile all my grades they had to put a AKA in the system ( to many of my Teachers turned it in under my nick name ) when I joined here I just added Art to the front ArtJTE
3. Describe yourself in three words.
Hardworking Honest Loser (I know harsh but true I can't win life at the bottom of the hill.)
4. Are you left or right handed?
Righty
5. What was your first deviation?
This was my Intro to Photoshop in my first Graphic art class heck had to save its progress on a Zip drive disk.
6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
Wood block prints but I don't have access to a press to print as much as I would like
7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
I think that's a trick Question because I you ask a master of any stilly they would say that there still learning.
on the honest side the art of the sale. The starving arts thing is to true.
8. What was your first favourite?
now I think I took the Deviant thing to far but love Halloween and she is cute.
9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Good art any stile as long as there is hart and honesty and also a Little fun and humor. Most of all things that make me think and give my new ideas
10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
jollyjack.deviantart.com/ jollyjack mans work is top notch and has a great sense of Humor.
11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I don't have many Wachers but just a few the come by and see what I'm up to encourages me to keep making Art
13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Pencil, note book, Chip carvers Knife, brush and canvas, and my Wacom Cintiq 13HD
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
I have a little studio whit the local artist coop
15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
I made a comment on this Pic that turned in to a informative back and Froth with the artist.

fun Painting the Street

Paint the Street
my mind sort of went blank so I did this
work and fun but a note's for next year
- poll & tape so I don't have to kneel down to paint it all
- tent "I bake in the sun"
- smaller brushes for the details
- cooler with more water and snacks got a little low toward the end.
- box of Crayola sidewalk chalk
- knee pads or garden foam pad
this time I did it for the Pharmacy but next year I might get my own 6x6 square.

Yes I'm Still Alive
Were to start still in Springfield Still working at Monty's Subs www.montyssubs.com/ and trying to make a life with Art. To that end I joined a art group here in Springfield Called The Pharmacy Gallery & Art Space www.facebook.com/thepharmacyga… and have been making new work and showing them now I just need to master Selling them.

I really thought I would sell the money one I know a 4 foot tall mushroom is a hard sell. Now I'm working on a wine bottle with my stylized Nouveau style and on another tangent Im thinking a head to the fall and new faces for Pumpkins but that's hard with out Pumpkins so I made my own
yep I am Crazy...
More to come this I promise more by this time next week even if its old but never Posted here before.

To Long time readers (ok I don't Wright that much) I'm the Manager of a local Sandwich shop Called
Monty's Submarines in Springfield IL. I'm also its Graphic Arts not that I get payed really for it.
The Owner the business is Bob and he came to me Wanted a Tee shirt Designs
Pure Design thought I did a good job.
Food Work the Dressing is called the Secret Sauce, I try to get people to buy Cookies by doing a Hipp-no hand thing, and our Ultimate Sub's PLU code is 19.
-The Navy- Hand to play with the Submarine thing
-Air force- had to do a different branch of service
and that's what i did.
More to Come.

OK I finally did some thing in a Timely manner. Well semi timely.

---Artist Statement---
___Sometimes a single image tells a vast story and other times its just a moment pulled out of time, Silent. Here lets try to give thoughts silent moments a little more of a voice.
___Lets take a Walk,
In this busy world of ours its nice just to leave it all behind and take a walk and let our minds go were ever they want to. (NO I did not do any illegal drugs before hand.)
___Down by my store is one of the major Railroad lines so one day I took off early and had a Quiet (although slightly illegal) walk on the tracks. As I came up to a modern train I think back to the old Iron Horses that would of rolled down the tracks. As I look at the engines walkway I think of Billy the Kid up there ready for anything. Later look-en at a Grain car I see a big hand wheel and my mind go's away to the open Sea and the deck of a tall ship with a Pirate at the Ships Wheel Yo-Ho-Ho. Uh-oh here comes a train so its time to go before I get caught, but I still feel like I need more. The next day I'm free (and not in Jail) so lets try a old Train track that's now being turned into a bike trail. As I start off I pick up a leaf and think of the little guy on the NO trespassing sign the other day free to walk with me today. Now this trail is still being worked on but there are barricades more for motor vehicles then Me, I think, but in some places I think they could be put to better uses. Now when this was a Railroad it was used to haul grain form large farm elevators built by the tracks. These towers of the prairie have always made me think of some sort of secret launch sight. Sometimes you see just some old broken thing parked by someone on some unused speck of land forgotten. Don't you think these things remember better days. As I come upon the first finished bridge they have a barricade up and all I can think of is (what is this suppose to stop). Later I find what its Suppose to stop.
